Mr. David Eichel
Tombs Prison,
New York City, N.Y.
Dear Mr. Eichel:-

Thank you very much indeed for yours of December 10th. I have taken up the case of you and your brother with Miss Witherspoon, and her Bureau will do everything that can be done in the matter.

You are right in your attitude of insisting upon some disposition of the case by either the civil or military authorities. Look to Miss Witherspoon’s Bureau for help in the first instance.

With best of good wishes,

Yours,

RNB.RB
