hard road that he can at last arrive on the easy path. Remember also that he would do nothing to needlessly give himself trouble unless he was absolutely forced to do so, thru conscience and common sense. To worry about him is needless and can do you nor him, no good whatsoever.

Personally, I am getting along pretty well - and I hope you are not too much concerned about me.

Nothing interesting to write you. I have written Sam, Ornstein[?] & others, while I was still in Leavenworth. If you see them ask them whether they received word from me. Kindest and fondest regards to all.
