[August 8, 1918] Dear David Eichel:-

Thanks for yours of the 2nd in regard to the trial of six men. I have seen Judge Mack about all these cases, and there is nothing further that I can do at present. I am making a further representation to the War Department about the case of Crofton who is a British subject. I am afraid the others are headed straight for the Barracks.
