THE AMERICAN PATRIOT
Norman M. Thomas, Chairman
220 East 116th St., New York

Wed. night

Beloved:
I enclose a letter from Mother written of course before yours to her was received. Evan also was emphatic about how badly the boys would feel if you & Jane went elsewhere. What do you want me to do? Of course I can arrange what you want.

Evan brings good news of camp, thinks he can surely get off with us & will be down to help out so I can be away Friday night.

I had a pretty satisfactory talk with Miss Curtis; I think she’ll stay; will talk to you & me later. The meeting on temperance outdoors went very well – the best we’ve had. Jessie Brown sang “Where is My Wandering Boy” which was really appreciated by the crowd.
