Dear Bro Good Tues morn Am well. Am ready to go to Cedar Grove S.S.meeting. Was up last eve. Bro. C.R. Strite informs me that a letter from Bro. Frank Showalter states he is not faring so well. I dont think its any worse than with many of us but he’s

is at a outhouse for his officer told him that he must go to work. On his trip down he met with 2 other Menno’s but was separated from them and don’t know where they are. He is told he is the only CO in the entire camp.

Please write me & tell me how soon you go South. I think you’d better visit him. His address is Irvin F. Showalter, 4th Pioneer Infantry, Company D, Camp Wadsworth, Spartansburg, S.C. It will be a comfort to his parents to know of his being visited. Our furlough is extended until Nov. 15th by Co. Agent.
