Hamilton and put in guardhouse; a week later was transferred to Camp Upton; received letter from CLB advising end of hunger strike (David Eichel diary, Feb. 13, 1918); taken to hospital with the grippe on 3/13/1918, and returned on 3/20/1918 (David Eichel diary); Jewish(?); vegetarian; a Socialist?; discharged because of organic heart disease.
